Taryn joins us again as our lead instructor. She is a driving force for the BP Hockey Program, spreading her love of the game here as well as in her role as Director of Community Relations for the Calgary Inferno.

She played Midget AAA for the Calgary Choas throughout high school while attending the Edge school for Athletes.
Taryn played for Team Alberta for 2 consecutive years in 2004 & 2005. She attended the University of Maine on a full scholarship, graduating with a Business Degree in Management & Finance, as well as a Degree in Child Education.

Upon graduating Taryn returned to Calgary and continued to play 4 Seasons for the Calgary Inferno in the CWHL.
2015 drew an end to Taryn’s hockey career as she underwent her 4th shoulder surgery.

Taryn currently works for Suncor Energy as a Procurement Specialist. Taryn has enjoyed everything that Hockey has brought to her life, including friends, memories and life lessons.

Taryn is still actively involved in Hockey, as it has become a part of who she is.

The love of hockey never goes away.
